Does anybody else have bad Dab radio reception on their post 2012 beetles? seems to work fine when its in my garage/drive but on the move, the reception is non existant. Is this a radio issue or just poor reception in the S.Wales area?
As a footnote the radio is the Rns 315 with the Fender pack.

I do, but I haven't actually used it. I'll check it out next time I'm in the car.

I always use mine. Absolute radio 90's for me! Lol!
Never had any issues at all tbh.

I think DAB does depend on the area. When we lived in Weston, DAB reception was fine, but we moved 20 miles to Bristol and we have had to tune all the DAB radios back to FM.

As an update on my DAB radio reception the car went into my local VW dealers today and apparently there is a ' Technical Service Bulletin' regarding this problem. It entailed revealing the radio/aerial connections in the left A pillar and 'swopping' the connections, anyway seems to have done the trick. I now have DAB radio loud and proud.
I don't know if this fix is for the Cabrio. only, or applicable to all models.
