cheap insurance for beetles anyone?

    just about given up with quinn direct messing me about been quoted 992 with adrian flux thats the monthly instalement quote, any ideas of cheaper companies that maybe offer discounts :) x

    The best thing to do is look at the web site confussed.com
    It gives you a great selection of quotes.
    We insure an Audi S3 and V5 beetle for £680 fully comp with protected no claims via 'Bell'

    flux was cheapest for us they put our bug on a classic policy £250

    thanks guys im sorted got one for 7 huindred and something with bradford and bingley or something :) quinn direct cancelled on me because they couldnt get the money out n it turned out they never even set up a direct debit with my bank and they are blaming me and now tryin to charge me 2 grand it was only 831 so now they have lost another customer they are definatly going to go bust!! x

    its ended up being 815 or something lol my other one was more so ive saved a bit! haha i wish i was older at times like this boohoo :( x

    doesn't always help, although I'm not quite as old as you :D
    the mods on mine added over £200 to the quote, then they wanted £40 extra to insure the mods (wheels, exhaust, suspension, spoiler) :(

    at least I got a free Meerkat, eased the pain a little :D

    We were insured with Admiral, was paying around £900 for a new Octavia VRS petrol and the Beetle, but just sold the Bug today and they still wanted nearly £900 as dropped from multicar to single car, so they loaded it with penalty charges etc, so looked around and got a quote from privilige with protected no claims, upgraded hire car, legal cover and minimum excess, a shade under £400!

    So overall, am happy with that!
