Summer holidays ??? Very limited conversation here.. or does most of the members switching to FB & Co ?
Pretty much all the forums/clubs I'm on are the same it's a real shame, but I guess it's a sign of the times.
It seems so - time is changing and from my personal perspektive I am not a fan of this social media stuff like FB aso. May I am getting old but I prefer a conversation in the old fashioned way like here. But sooner or later Froums / clubs will be more 'riding a dead horse'. And as already mentioned other forums/clubs seems having the same problem. Additionally since our NewBee's where replaced by the Beetle in 2010/11 our cars are definatley out of mind.
The point I was trying to make is that not all forums a busy just on Facebook. Vw Vortex is quite busy also and that IS a Beetle forum
Its a shame the forum has gone quiet but I guess people move on as well as technology. I am not a big fan of Facetube but I do use it a bit. For one thing there isn't the resources to fall back on that you get with searching a forum. I found the A1 forum a bit quiet but compared to the beetle the A1 is a more reliable car. The TT forum (mk3) is pretty quiet too but has helped me out no end I might add very much like this site and the old CC that has sadly met its demise.
If you join FB you can always tell us what you've had for tea or what new jeans you've bought ,got to agree with you though no FB for me either
I had chicken for tea sat in a the garden watching some mice eating a dumpling that I put on the grass for them lol I'm not on Facebook not interested in everyone bullshit bitching
True words... the only thing I hate that every HP move to FB. There is a VW event on Sept. 18th which I want to join but you cant find the address where. The only sentence I always see... pls see further details at our FB site.... but lets say ..this will be a challenge for me and I am sure I will find the location anyway
