Like all these things it's not a case of it necessarily causing problems but you have to be aware that the more air it is shifting then the leaner the car will run, therefore giving greater chance of problems. Not an issue if you don't exercise your right foot that hard but if you do like to use the loud pedal then you may run into problems with to little fuel in the mixture.................. Bear in mind that a decent induction kit shifts SIGNIFICANTLY more air than a replacement panel type filter so would have a greater impact on lean running at high revs/load.
