I take it you will be having the Revo done at midlandvw? How do you rate these guys as Ive never used them but often wondered? Fancy gettin the cab chipped in the near future and lowered etc but want to take it somewhere which is trusted. Any discounts offered by these guys etc??!! ;)

Hi Mark
I've taken Charlie's Bug to Midland VW since we brought it and I have to say Jody (who runs it with his mom Jackie) really knows his stuff ;)
The bug's going in on the 3rd of June to have the pipe fitted and a V5 sport drivers side wheel arch liner with the grill for the intercooler 8-)
In terms of cost the pipe is £128 from forge and its meant to be a nasty job to fit but Midland are doing it for us £175 all in so £47 for fitting.
We brought our exhaust system from them as well and caught it on a speed bump the other week loosening it, I popped in on the off chance and they got it on the ramp tightened it and sent me on my way free of charge :) Servicing costs are very good as well.
Pop down and have a chat with them.
I know MarkyP takes his V5 Sport there to.
I'll have a chat when with them when I go in on the 3rd and see if I can organise some benefit for being a evvo member.
They may be able to organise a REVO day were there aloud to do the remapping at a discount.

Sounds like a plan Chris, how much do they charge for a REVO? ;)

I think it's £468 inc vat as it's not the garages that set the price it's Revo themselves so if they can do a Revo day your looking at around £420 inc vat.

Here are the picks as promiced :)
Mr A the pipe does make a difference he's much more responcive and sounds alot throatier (i'm not running an induction kit)
Mark Midland VW are looking to change from Revo to Custom Code but I trust Jody's judgement so will go with what he recommends.
