Ive been getting strange noises from Noodle. A week back i had a disk replaced as it was warped, now when i brake, usually for sustained amount of time, i get a kind of faint clunking noise coming from the front end, its only when i brake and usually at quite low speeds.
Any ideas what it could be?

Was the other side not replaced at the same time? :-?
Was it a front or rear disk?

Think it was a front disk, not 100% sure they replaced both of them to be honest :-/

I think you're supposed to change both sides when you either do disks or pads as one thicker than the other with cause uneven braking - surely?
When you next in Bristol?

If they didn't replace both discs and the pads they didn't do their job properly, and that would explain your noise. It's easy enough to check look at the discs (both) through the wheels if they've bothe been replace they'll both look the same. We had the same problem when we did the rear discs on a Civic, turned out the cheapy pads we'd bought rattled about in the caliper, som proper Honda ones sorted it.

After being out in Noodle, I'm not sure it's the brakes. It does happen when he brakes, and Noodle wasn't wanting to show me the noise, but it did happen when he put him in neutral and braked.

Aren't the pads effectively floating in the caliper and therefore able to move around slightly? This could be the cause of the clunking, if indeed it only happens at low speed.

I think it's fixed and it was the anti roll bar bushes?
