whenever ziggy is cold, he really shudders into gears, like i'm going to stall but don't (no its not my driving!). once i've been driving for a while its fine and usually only in 1st and 2nd and reverse.
also i've had a it a few times where after he's been parked over night, i take the hand brake off to pull out and a massive clunk comes from underneath. theres no other noise afterwards but it doesn't sound too healthy!!
is it normal to have this when the cars cold or is there an issue i should get sorted before the warranty runs out?
help is much appreciated!! :)

The massive clunk is just the handbrake sticking on - nowt to worry about :)

The shudderyness is more worrying - could be the clutch :( get it checked over while it's in warrenty.

I wonder if it's got something to do with enough oil, maybe something slipping in there. Am interested into seeing what it is, as my mum's NB Cabriolet is a bit like that sometimes - reminds me, must post up pics of that.

Let us know what happens - sounds a bit like oil leaking onto the clutch plate while the car is stood and then burning off after it`s been used a couple of times

The handbrake is nothing to worry about, just one of the side effects of disc brakes - you want to hear Rach`s after the cab`s been stood outside for a week :o

We left the handbrake on on our blue/yellow Bay once... took us ages to get it to move again ;D one size came off but the other didn't - so he was trying to move but couldn't one one side, so the back end was just going up and down at an angle ;D
