Having to do CPR on the bonnet to open it!

I think Robbie's bonnet cable is stretching :( I've had difficulties opening it lately - sometimes when I pull the lever nothing happens - I get the click noise but the bonnet doesn't pop up, so then I have to do what looks like CPR on his bonnet to get it to move up enough to get my fingers under it! Then I have a war pulling on the tab trying to get it to release.

I've put loads of WD40 on the mechanism, I'll put some copper grease on it too tomorrow I think. It all seems to move freely tho.

So I'm not sure if it's the mechanism, the cable or something else - any ideas? And has anyone had to replace their cable themselves before?

Its nothing to do with the V5 Front end catching something is it?

No it's not that - I think it's the combination of bibs causing the cable to stretch. It was fine before I used them and fine on the sport end before.
