My drivers wing mirror is starting to go (again) how much would it cost to replace?
Would it be an easy job to do and could I just get the part and do it myself?
Just trying to save a few pennies and avoid the stealers if I can.

I think they're £50 aren't they?
Pretty sure Luke's done this - I'm sure he'll post.

Yep replaced both on Gertie, around £50 for the pair, to remove them make the glass of the mirrors go all the way in so you can get your fingers behind and pull and they'll come off. Disconnect the wiring making a note of the way the wires go round. Reconnect the wires and clip into place. :)

Coolio. Had a mare this morning - Passenger window cleared just lovely, but I wanted to pull out into the right hand lane - and couldn't bloody see out the sodding mirror to see if anything was coming up or not! >:(.
Oo-er, it'll be the first thing I've done to the car myself!
