Plug leads

Please can anyone help. I'm looking for a set of performance plug leads for my 2.0 ltr bug. It's a '99 LHD (not import) engine code AQY. I've been told that they will be the same as Mk4 Golf but i can't find anything with same engine code. :(

tried that, no one lists any for that engine code. Been in touch with Magnecor and they are looking into making a set.

thats odd it should be the mk3 2.0ltr engine

Yeah it's the same engine from the M3 Golf.

found listing for Mk3 2.0ltr but the engine code doesn't match. will this matter. There is no distributor, just a coil pack tucked under the cold start 'hairdryer' (as my wife calls it.)

Why not just try the stealers? They probably arent that much more expensive? Unless you're after performance leads?

And all 2.0 bugs have the engine code AQY :)

Think i'm going to have to. Did want some Magnicore ones, used them on other cars and they are really good. They haven't got back to me yet and i'm getting desperate now. Any more tape and the ones i've got won't fit on the plugs :( :(
