fault boot light

my boot light on the dash says my boot is open when its not and when you lock the car the alarm dosent arm and gose off this one has got me realy stressed cos where im living the car needs to be alarmed

Are you sure it's 100% closed?

yeh i had the battry off now everything has gon kaput ive had to jus run it back to work and leave it with security

now the boot and abs lights are on and the alarm dont arm i think its a trip to vw on monday moring if i carnt find owt on net :'(

:(yeh ill have to take it in to them i bet they blooooody charge me the £60hr as well

do you know of anyone eles whos had problems after they had the battery unpluged :-/
i dint think that would matter ...

I've disconnected mine loads of times but not had any problems. You didn't undo the ECU, did you?

no but the alarm did go off which i thhoght was weird ....i dont usaly get beat by the car but this ones got me ........wil see wat the stealers say monday just hope the braking system is ok with the abs light on as well cos im gonna have to drive it tommorow ... :-?

:D :D so after todays cuting my hands puting ultra zeon bulbs in the bug all the other lights on the dash gone out and the alarm activates agein :)



but what a pain the lights are to do ive photoed it to help others will post it soon
