Hey,

Does anyone know if it is possible to get the engine remapped on the 2.0l Beetle? I've had a quick look but only seem to find places that will touch the turbo engines.

It can be done but you will only get minimal increases of about 10-15 BHP. Send Jayson at www.chippeduk.com a mail he will tell ya what you could expect ;)

It's for my wifes bug so I'm not sure I would trust her with any more extra power than that!!!!!

i dont think its worth it to be honest - power gains are minimal and it doesnt help economy a great deal.

I put the cash towards new rims / suspension / brakes / body kit / spoiler first.

Yeah I guess you are right, new rims would look pretty sweet. I'm thinking about getting a milltek exhaust system fitted though.
