I can get 70 easily in 3rd in mine at about 4500 revs.. I think.... it's whatever number that's getting towards the red.

;)my 3rd is 112 4th 125 and i ran outa road for 5th but have seen my topspeed on the m1 and not posting it on here lets just say the vw stats are way off

still wanna get it chiped just to get there faster but i wanna see if it is that much faster at getting there

gonna get the apr chip then add stage 2 and 3 programs later :)

getting there is def quicker. not sure it makes it any faster in 5th. need a 6th ;)

i want no i need a 6th gear too maybe after i get the chip and maifold fitted ill get a 6speed to harness the power im not going over 260bhp thought theres a right up on net about the turbo beetle and them crashing like the tt use to do

plus it ill cost a lot of mula and ive seen an rx7 i like for £7k if i want lots of power ;D

There's nowt wrong with going over 260bhp, or 270, 280, 290, or even 300 ;)

4 wheel drive is needed though with that power, i'm getting fed up of wheelspin in 3rd now :o

i was looking for the cab turbo b4 i got my bug couldent find 1 for under 13k so jus got the tintop ill cut the roof off later ;D or fit a rag top anyone seen a bug ragtop do they even make one ::) bet the yanks have got one ;D
