How to remove the center console and the pollen filter and the front covers.

Before you start remove the positive battery lead as there are airbag sensors and having one of those go off is interesting to watch but doesn't help in the proccess *[smiley=shocked.gif]

Remove the four screws located under the switch panel under the center console and then unclip the wire boxes for the heater switch, hazard lights esp heated seats and red bulb. Easiest way to take out the red bulb is to push the plastic rectangle through it's housing first. Sorry, mislayed that pic.

Then you will be able to take off the switch panel and remove all the other screws you see, You will need to remove the radio too as there are 2 screws behoind that. There are also screws behind the grab handle fitment. Also you will need to take off your vase holder, (be careful as easily snaps tabs off) Then just tug and pull the center console off, The panel behind the center console will then slide off.

Undo all the rest of the screws that you see and you will be able to remove the front dash covers left and right. They will only come off with either the left or right one first as they overlap. You will be able to see the Pollen through so remove that and you can find the pollen filter. Change this as will be dirty, also i vaccuumed up all the leaves and gunph < (technical term) around it.

Then just put it all back together again including all the screws. Recconect the battery. I had 2 screws left over and it rattles on bumpy roads but i can't hear it unless the radio is turned off, Reason for the rip off was to install a positive lead from the inside to the outside and the car battery. :)

I'll be doing it again after DubFreeze as need to add to the front panels a certain design. So hopefully i'll do a screw by screw image tutorial as this was a bit scrappy.
