Time to start modding the cab ;)
Getting the wheels on Saturday morning - hopefully getting it lowered the weekend after
PS. The change in user name may explain the sudden burst of Bug enthusiasm ;)

Those are the ones we went to buy at soutwest tyres, ( RS4 reps) £899 in 19,s with tyres.
Check the quality as the one we saw was a bit suspect.
I new you were finding it hard to resist, ;D ;D ;D
what drop are you going for.

18`s I`m afraid, they can`t get them in 19 for a while - besides we don`t want to shock Heritage too much when it goes in next ;D
Started off at £750 but after a bit of haggling they`re down to £675 - bargain !!
Looking at 40mm drop in the next week or so ;)
Gotta get it looking good for Reading :)

18s are a good choice - they really suit the Bug and the shape of the arches IMHO. Plus you don't run the risk of damaging the rims under hard cornering or taking out a loan each time you need a new tyre ;) :D

Yeah mine is on 18s and lowered 45, does get a bit frantic on really bumpy roads if your going quickly, but does handle soooo much better on the bendy bits! :D

18s.....good call :)

Wimped out on the drop as well now *;D
Going for -25mm Eibachs, they shouldn`t look too obvious to the dealers but should make enough of a difference visually (and handling wise, hopefully) with the 18`s.
Can`t wait now - wheels tomorrow, springs next saturday :)

Not had that problem with the newbie, but on Rach`s old 1303 one of our cats used to sit on top of the tyre underneath the arch ;D

Very pleased, they look really good - so much better than the original 16`s *:)
The ride seems a tiny bit harder but such is the price of coolness ! *8-)
The springs were ordered and paid for this morning (my bank must think I have been mugged !) and I`ll be down SWT next Saturday at 8.30am banging the door down to get them fitted !!

You'll get used to the ride pretty quick - and as you say, you don't mind the ride being a tad harsher when you look so cool! 8-)
My bank thinks I get mugged every month :-[
Can't wait to see what it looks like next week :)

Which made it look like this ....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v120/Grahamini/LowBug1.jpg
And brought the gap to earth down to 170mm *:)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v120/Grahamini/LowBug2.jpg
Took these 30 mins after they were fitted so they should settle down over the next few days and maybe drop a bit more *:)
