Well..Noodle has had his first real modification...out with horrid orange indicator bulbs...in with lush chrome indicator bulbs :)

Tomorrow's jobs are TT pedal instalation and the start of my interior painting jobs :)

Well i managed to fit my new rear lights, there is a scratch on the left one through the glass and a tiny crack which you cant see on the other, but all in all, for £10 im well chuffed! :D :D

Sorry they not brilliant photos, but i dont have time tonite for the usual faffing about with the camera! :D

Well finally after what has been weeks of preperation, mainly due to me not being at home much...ive finally sprayed my speedo surround, very pleased with it, the finish is miles better than my last one i painted on Doodle. Sorry the piccie is not great, will do new ones later :)

LOL, you just take the speedo surround off, it pulls off :) Then you gotta sand all the rubbishy rubber surface on the surround, spray it with primer, wet and dry sand the primer, spray the paint on, then spray on clear laquer and your done :)

Well finally i have managed to fit my 18's from Noodle, spent about an hour fitting them and cleaning them which wasnt too bad. No dramas this time around!

Sorry for the crappy photos, the light was ****e and i used my fone which isnt the best when its getting dark.

Hopefully will go out the weekend at somepoint for a photoshoot :)

lol they do that all the time, although when i got pulled for speeding i was in the passenger seat, but then they was only one dude in the car then. They just following procedure though really Luc with locking you in, actually i think all police cars have child locks enabled anyway. Trouble is they are set targets by the government which mean its better for them to pull in as many people as possible, but that is a whole new topic :D :D

Yeah spoiler screws into where the rear brake light is, rear brake light integrated into spoiler, but you need to splice the wires from the brakes into the wires in the spoiler and they both kinda look the same, so if u get the wrong way around the fuse for the brake light blows, very annoying, but worth it in the end :D :D

Well Noodle had a close encounter of the lowering stick variety last nite, Grant Motorsports fitted me in and did an amazing job, i can highly recomend them, they do a lot of the work for VW racing, so you cant really get much better than that, was told that one of my shocks needed replacing so will be getting that done there, plus he can get RSi bodykits for £1k less than if u get them from shops :) :)

Will post piccies on Monday, taking him on a photoshoot tonite, so watch this space..famous last words ;)...didnt get round to photoshooting last nite...this week sometime hopefully lol :D

This is him anyway, with his Votex front end, evil eyelids, 18's, lowered by 45mm and his painted brake calipers, thats all the major plans i have for his exterior, i dont want to go over the top in modifying him, im happy with the way he looks so thats cool. Gonna start playing about with the interior next :D :D

Yeah its amazing the difference, just brings it all together, plus the handling is a billion times better.

I know its mad looking back! Yeah i do like the 'lids, although they need re-doing now, they getting a bit tatty, surely a job for a cold Sunday morning me thinks!

The lids, i got some paper templates, cut them to fit, then used the templates over vinyl to cut them out, then i sprayed the vinyl with washing up liquid and put them on, moved them about, and then smoothed them on :)

Also, my bumper never had a number plate :)

Well its about time i updated Noodles thread with some new photos!

So here are some from a quick photoshoot the other night...all i have to say is black cars are a PAIN IN THE ARSE to photo! lol

This is the same location as i shot Lukes Archie and Ant's bug, i am now a bit bored of it, so will be taking some more photos soon at a new location, which i still have not found yet lol

I still have a way to go with photographing Noodle, for some reason i can never get him to be as black and shiny as in real life, black is a pain to photo though because of the reflections etc!

Yes, yes, its been MONTHS on end since i updated this thread, but worry not fellow bug peeps, i have a new device, which will get put to use this weekend, its a suction clamp, which attaches the camera to the car with a long pole to enable you to do shots like that of Ant's car on the move and various other moving shots, cant wait now to try it out, this is the sort of viewpoints you can get from it though...

haha I did that in a friend's Bug - it was scary cos his doors don't shut all that well and it wasn't locked and we were going round in tight circles :eek:
