newbie, few pics of my wifes cabby

we bought the car about a year ago and it stayed standard for about 8 months before is was lowered 55mm and fitted with 19 a8 alloys and a votex front bumper.
then in january this happened,

on the 6th of january i hit the mother of all potholes in st james northampton

and it did this to both the near side wheels

i got in touch with the council about making a claim but they said the work that had resulted in the pothole was carried out by BT.

weeks later BT tell me that they had contracted the work out to telent communications, so again i wait to hear from them.

Telent tell me that that got someone else to do the road repair and i should contact them.

finally, this month i got confirmation that i was getting paid out for damages to my car.

it took from the 6th january till last week to get a this sorted so if your ever in the same situation dont give up!!

anyway, the upshot of all this meant the car was off the road for ages but it also meant i could get some new wheels, and here they are on the car in a few new pics.

first of all, thanks for all the nice comments guys and gals.

charlie, got loads of plans for the bug but not sure whether they'll be done for e38.
i'd love to get them done but i dont want to take the car off the road while the weather's nice.
saying that i might, i just dont know, :-/
things on the list to do though is:
get votex rear bumper to fit ;D
de badge bonnet and bootlid
smooth bumpers in to arches giving a nice smooth uncluttered look.
thats it i think ::)

Man, the Euro Votex bumper is so much cleaner than the US version. Wheels r hot too! 8-)

I always thought it would be cool for someone with a Harvest Moon vert to color match the windscreen frame and netting. ;)
