What about a reconditioned one? Check places like Dell.

Looked at recon's & used a month or so ago for my sis. The price difference was only about £100 ish by the end of it so we went for a ew basic one from PC World/Dabs/eBuyer.

I have an apple Ibook G3 sat around here at home willing to sell if you want a mac - creat little machine 12" screen, cd writer, but not wireless and limited to max of 10.2 OS.
I have used it to travel with, process pics, watch DVDs and surf, thats about it.
