Due to an increased moderation policy on ads, any classifieds will not appear until it has been approved by a moderator. This is a manual process and happens throughout the day - your ad will be approved but it may take a few hours.
New Classifieds Rules: Effective immediately all new classifieds posts in the For Sale sections must have the following information:
Exact description of the items for sale in the thread title field i.e. "2002 New Beetle Rear Lights" or "New Beetle Steering Wheel"
An accurate description of the item for sale, stating if its new, used or second hand - pictures are helpful.
Price clearly stated in the post, even if offers requested, ie £100 o.n.o. - ads without a price will be deleted
If you're linking to an Ebay or Pistonheads listing please include details of the item in your post. If your posting a Pistonheads listing please also include the price. i.e. posts just containing a link will be deleted.Any advert posted that is not in the above format will be deleted.
By listing your ad in the evvo classifieds you also agree to the following classified specific rules:
You are the legal owner of the item offered - i.e. items posted on behalf of someone else will be deleted.
Illegal items such as pirate/copied music and/or software is not permitted. Posting such items will lead to a warning being issued and your use of the classifieds restricted.
No selling of live animals. Pet shops have this part of the market cornered.
Privately owned items only - i.e no commercial selling. Unless the poster is a subscribed advertiser (http://uk-mkivs.net/content/Advertise.aspx) within the evvo forum.All classifieds ads are provided as-is and are placed entirely at the posters risk. evvo.co.uk cannot be held liable in the event of a claim arising from a dispute over an item listed on this site.
Where possible we can help to contact the buyer / seller if a evvo team instead of posting the problem on the forums for mass speculation.
Tips on posting your ad(s).It has been noted that ads posted with images help to sell the item quicker, and more easily. Also provide descriptive/informative content for your ad(s), remember people like to see information on the item they're interested in. If you require image hosting please see this thread (http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/thread/559000.aspx) (direct them to our hosting photos thread)
Once approved your ad will be locked and making replies will not be possible. You are encouraged to contact the seller directly via PM or email (from the contact drop down menu) if you're interested in item etc.
Please also note, members with a post count less than five (5) will have their ad(s) rejected. This is to discourage individuals from joining up to the forum just to post ad's in our classifieds.

These rules can and will be modified at anytime, offenders who say "oh but i didn't know" will not be immune to these rules. As a user of this forum it is your responsibility to know the rules and abide by them, or you simply will not be allowed to participate. Use of evvo Forums is a privilege granted to users by forum moderators.
One more thing. Since it is physically impossible for us to be here all the time, you can help me out. If you see a post that violates one or more of the above rules, please pm a moderator. Posts that violates the above rules the post will be deleted without notice. Multiple violations can lead to banning.
Make sure to get all the persons info your trading from , name , phone number , address , call them and verify things. Have them call you to verify on caller id , Ship with verifications and signatures needed , keep an open line of communication. Dont trade/sell something and become unavailable. Dont use or trust yahoo/hotmail/freebie mails. Make sure its their isp email , ask them to email you from and for them to even verify a code sent to them via there email so you know theres is real is well.
** WAYS To Prevent getting ripped off. **
Do not buy from new users.
Do not buy from users with just a few posts.
Do not buy from someone without going back and reading some of there previous sales or feedbacks. Ask for proof of good feedback from the forum.
Get all details , phone number , name & address , confirm it. Call them or have them call you. Get an email from them.
Ask for any sort of credentials. Links to an ebay account for feedback. Verify the same email address.
After you buy from a user.
Go back to there thread , give a detail of the transaction. If its a Good , neutral or Bad Experience.
