You selling them to get some money to buy a new carpet? :D
Seriously, nice kit, would love them but my room is too small, I am havign huge set-up issues with my 7.1 Amp and speakers so much so that I have given up and reverted to 5.1 until I move house ::)

ive had new carpet since..altho that carpet on the photo was new, it had a fault line and so was replaced..just looks a funny colour on the photo and the pile was quite long so it looks patchy..honest!!
(defending me carpet!)
what av gear you using then Neil? im still on dolby digital to be honest (5.1), thats my Arcam av amp sitting on the av rack. the 2 monobloks on the wooden stand drive my front left and right speakers. (this is gonna turn into a willy waving competition!! lol)

LOL - at the carpet defending.
As to hifi I am not a serious buff, never been able to justify spending huge wedge on it. I needed a new AV amp so read lots of reviews, I was looking for 'top of the range - low cost' so the mass manufacturers e.g. Sony, Pioneer etc.. and to future proof fancies 7.1, this one a raft of awards when it was released in the £300-350 bracket so I got it:
Sony STR-DB798 7.1 http://img.shopping.com/cctool/PrdImg/images/pr/177X150/00/01/b6/5b/03/28728067.JPG
It's pretty good actually, lot of features etc... paired with a set of these prinicpally because they weren't paper cones, I liked the look and I demo'd them at a SOny Centre where they seemed to 'pair' well
Just need to update my DVD player to a decent recorder now and I'm set. Sony seem to be pretty good in that department too so I guess I will go there. http://www.hitech2go.com/binaries/p_2038.jpg
I was keen to get both and a decent DVD player for under £1k which i did :)
I also have a set of early 90's SOny Amp and CD player, the first range of the UK tuned stuff which I picked up second hand, were over a grand when new I paid £100, I drive 2 old Wharfdale's with that in the garage!!!
Anyway enough waffling, buy these speakers, they are great and a good price too :)
