we were thinking of maybe doing a hotel the thursday night in Folkestone think its about a 2 hour drive for us so i assume we'll have to be there at the latest 30 mins before don't wanna be knackered for all the driving!!!

Early mornings don't bother me of Steve cos we're used to getting up early, especially in the summer. He sometimes goes into work at 5am in the summer when it's really busy and I've grown up used to getting up early every weekend for horse shows at 4am ish.

We're both morning people :D you'll probably moan at us for being cheery ;D

Yeah we came to the conclusion that it would be better to be up there, cos knowing us we'd have a disaster in the morning where Robbie wouldn't start or we'd have a puncture, or there'd be a massive accident on the M4 or something.

Speaking of punctures - everyone make sure you have a decent (and pumped up) spare :)

I must pump mine up... it's been soft ever since I bought him :-[ I do have a tyre blower upper thing in the boot anyway.

I'll bring it with me to Wolfsburg. I've got things like jump leads that I can bring too. And zip ties - they have so many uses! Steve suggested that taking a litre of oil would be a good idea too, just in case.

We haven't got a spare wheel for our 18's the spare is a 15 :-/ what do you lot do?? i know i saw somewhere you can run a 16 spare with 17's but i'm not sure the same applies for 18's and a 15!!! so do we just have a puncture repair kit (or is that just for bikes??) or have i gotta buy another 18??

Your spare will be fine because it has a much thicker tyre than the 18s making the overall diameter of the wheel the same :)
