If you wanted to make it in Peterboghorror, we could always hook up with the local CGTI meet, which happens on the first Thursday of the month - they're a good bunch ... and it would be nice to get some more NBs there ;)

The Woodman Pub in Thorpe Wood. We normally go in summer cos they just disappear into the pub as soon as they arrive in winter - which we always think defeats the object of a 'car' meet - but now the evenings are getting lighter, we'll probably start going more frequently and it would be good to meet up with more NB owners!

Bertie's a 2L Silver Arrow bug, lowered on Eibachs with Porsche cup replica wheels, a Cord spoiler and lots of shiny bits ;) Plate is J3 BUG - pics in the pics forum somewhere under 'My Bertie' and there's a pic of me and him with his old number plate in the 'Who we are' thread :)

Well as we live in Yaxley and popped into the town centre via the A15 on Saturday, it was probably us...and I do seem to remember seeing a bug along there!!

Hardly any NBs in Peterborough wave :(

I know... I've tried waving but get nothing in return! Not really seen many modded NB's about but there is a real nice yellow BUG that I've seen in Tescos car park in Hampton!

Having had every NB we saw on the way up to Stoke on Friday wave while Ant was driving Bertie, we've decided it's just me that people don't wave at :-/

I always wave unless I completely miss seeing one until it's too late (which isn't that often as my purpose while driving Bertie is to NB spot :D). I must admit I get a better response rate if I flash and wave rather than just wave. Ant just thinks I scare people *::)

is indeed, beyoned ones control unfortunately. I actually worked late last night aswell but clearly that wasn't enough.....maybe they want blood! I think I might think about working for myself, few good perks come out of that I think!!!

Lots of perks although some downsides as well - I tend to work long hours cos I find it hard to say no to new jobs, but at least I can decide when I do the work and (usually) rearrange if necessary!

I was thinking of leaving McDonalds between 7.45 and 8, so if you do head straight to The Woodman and we're already in the pub, look out for a short woman with lots of red hair and that'll be me :D
