As previous years how about we get together for a meet on Weston Beach? Bring some food have a BBQ and stuff -I'll try not to get caught doing naughty stuff on the beach this year :-[ ;D

We wanna do it when its nice weather so how about Sunday 29th July? - I don't think theres any shows on then. :)

I imagine it will be mainly South Westies who come, but all and everyone is welcome - would be a good setting for some cool piccies too? :)

What does everyone think? :)

We'll most likely go if it doesn't clash with a show - I like the Weston meets :)

That was my intention ;)

I've checked and apart from UK Formula VEE and Mudstock there aren't any big shows on that weekend, so should be a good weekend to choose for it?

Thought i'd post this up now so peeps have plenty of warning :D

Blugg, the beach is in Weston-super-mare. Its about 30 mins from Bristol. No buckets or spades are provided unfortunatly lol

I remember that, fun at the time, but afterwards (shudders)...........

I'am up for this, as I'am on a course for 3 weeks around then, and could do with a good cruise/meet to refresh between 'em.
Will deffo let you now nearer the time as it's summer and I'am doing a breathing apparatus course. Full on heat, flames and darkness. Gonna be fun fun fun :)

It is probally a long run in the car for him. He gets very car sick on long journey's.:( although he would love the beach:).

Let us know if you are bringing your dog as they have restricted which bits of the beach dogs can go on now, so we`ll need to check we`re on the right bit

It`s not sh1t, that`s the point ;) Lots of irresponsible dog owners have spoiled it for the ones that do clear up their dogs mess.

IIRC they are allowed on some bits, it was in the Weston Mercury the other day. I shall have to check ...

Okies so we'll go ahead with the beach meet on July 29th (which is also Gems 25th Birthday :D) weather permitting, what time, I suppose early evening would be best (less people around) say 6pm?

What about Berrow beach in Brean, just down the road and no nasty slopes to get the cars down, it should be quieter, just dont know when the beach is locked off to the public, ie cars.???????? ANY THOUGHTS.:beerchug: :) :)

Its Brean Beach that cars are allowed on, it doesn't say any times on the website.

OK so Brean Beach instead then, its a nicer beach anyway and those with doggies can bring them as it says dogs are welcome :D

Was thinking of joining you all if the weather hold out, Do you have anymore details of meeting points, ie postcodes. Cribbs at 3pm.....haven't got a clue where that is and multimap isn't being very helpful:(

The Morrisons opposite the Mcdonalds we meet at is BS10 7UD. It's literally a couple seconds off the M5 J17.
