OK Here it is; 1.6 SR version part 1
(part 2 to follow later in month after induction kit ;) ):

Remember is to take along a generator, a PS3, a monitor and some speakers. Plug it all in to the generator you've started. Then play the games while you wait. I got bored after 5 mins and had to resort to fiddling with different chemicals in Head DNA'a garage ;)

After completion make sure your ready for the test drive. Although it was a great track that Head DNA had layed out i wasn't expecting the extra weight in the car. Courtesy of the Head DNA. After answering all Head DNA's questions with lie's as i couldn't tell what the bonus's were as Head DNA had just added 16 stone to the weight of the car ::)

Then drop off Head DNA and part with your paper. Laugh and agree with everything before departing 8-)

The Final Report:

1st gear to 2nd. Makes a little more noise but the figures aren't large enough to tell a difference. Although had i remembered the before figures i think i may have been suprised. 2nd to 3rd gear. Slight bit of notibility. Mainly in the torque area. 3rd to fourth medi-ocre (**** knows how you spell that) 4th to 5th gear little more torque. Come on Guys/Gals it's only a 1.6 for God's sake. 5th gear. OK now were talking, (for 1.6 drivers) You know when your cruising at 70 -80 mph on the motorway and you need to pass a truck, in the advanced motoring test they tell you to accelerate when passing trucks to avoid the truckers blind spot. Well this is where the most increase or change i have noticed. It's repsponse in 5th is quite literally STUNNING. If you were on a track i could imagine at higher end speeds the response would be the same. That goes for every gear actually. I'm not sure how to describe it, but when you put pedal to metal something actually happens now. OK so it's not a lot in 1st to 4th but there is something. Oh boy is there something in 5th !!!!!!!!!!

Summing up:

Normal driving at up to 30 is not much change, but you wouldn't expect it as your being lazy and cruising to save kids lives ;)

Dual carriageway driving is a pleasure with response when asked for.

Autobahn driving as i found out on a recent trip is Phenominal. It's all there. With i think a little more.

1.6 SR Buggers. It's only £XXX and it will change your Bug forever. Even makes a bit more of a grunt. Fuel is about the same, maybe a few millilitres more :)

Now stuff that in Head DNA's letterbox, then Do a little dance :na

I do try! Trying to go a bit further and better then everyone else out there rather than just bang them out the door with a bit more bhp, there are so many other tuners out there I think the only niche is to get it perfect for the driver, make them find the car how it should have been when it left the factory, Mr VW take note and give me a job hehe

With yours there is no need for further mapping unless something like injectors or cams are changed. MAF/Lambda will allow for any extra flow up to 8% of total flow, which is more than you realise! :)

No point, no gain, need to flow more and yours are not maxed out, other factors to consider before needing more fuel, need more air first! :)
