Hi,

I've been on here for a week or so, and have added a few posts already. But, as i have 5 mins to kill i guess i'll say hello the official way!!!

I'm Ant, I live not to far away from our spiritual home in Germany, and last week i parted company with my beautiful mk5 Gti (on the wife's request), and will soon be collecting Bibble.
Bibble is a late 2004 2.0 newbee cab, in red (black roof), with winter pack, xenons, full leather etc etc.
So, i've said goodbye to my forum chums on golfgti.co.uk, and here i am.........

So.... Helloooooo!

Bibble is such a great name! :D

well, the wife names all her cars!!! we had a megane 16v called 'mylo' (my lo car), the Gti was called 'mibi' (mi babi car), and the story behind Bibble is that in germany, the reg plates are by city name.....we live in bielefeld, which on number plates is BI, so she's hopeful she'll be able to have a number plate of BI BL 1234.
Although i think bibble is just one of her crazy annotations of the word beetle! lol!

hi Ali, i believe i googled 'new beetle club' or something like that. I usually try and join forums as they're a good source of info/help. The golfgti club were very helpful, so as soon as i signed on the dotted line for the bug i got looking for a new forum home.

no, i wasn't sold. we need a baby so my rottweiler has a playmate - our plan is for the dog to bring the child up in a jungle book kinda style - then when the kid starts school he/she will be thinking its safe to poo on the floor and sniff peoples crotches! will be hilarrious! That combined with my wife's plans for early education (telling it blue is green and red is blue and cows are chickens etc etc), the kid should have great comedy value!
