Thanks for replying, at least I know this works. Just having a bit of trouble trying to upload pictures of my bug for my profile. Tried the photobucket but im a bit reluctant to post my details, can I email them to someone?
I love your bug, looks better with its summer wheels on tho. Have you just used springs or shocks as well cos my bug is getting lowered soon and was thinking of using apex kit for a 45mm drop but I keep hearing stories about lowering disasters? By the way try a search for "diesel geek" in the usa for sump guards.Dont know how much they are to ship over but may give you some ideas.

P.S. Noticed you r bug is lowered 45mm, is it shocks and springs? Gonna get mine done soon and need some tips, heard you get trouble from drivse shafts and stuff?

Mine's on just springs. Lowering disasters? Yeah i've seen their sump guards - might try making up my own version :)
Thanks for the comments about my Bug :) yeah I like the summer wheels better too - but the quality of them is crap and winter was ruining them :( so they're summer only now.

Daryl`s the chap to speak to, his cab is lowered about 3ft *;D
Ours is only lowered a relatively 4x4 like 25mm *:P *;D

hey and welcome - if your lowering 40mm or thereabouts you wont have any problems - im dropped 40mm on mine and didnt change anything apart from my springs. If your going lower than that u may want to uprate your shocks
