Hello all
I am waiting arrival of my new bug end of May. She is going to be called Clem Too. My first beetle was a 1303 in bright yellow which i had to sell about 14 years ago and she was called Clemantine. I am so excited about my new one. Its a 1.6 Luna hatch in Harvest moon beige. She goes on the prodution line on 23rd April...can't wait. Will post some pics when she arrives.
Any one else got a hatch in this colour as i think i am in the minority.

WOW! nice choice of tin top colour HM is one of my faves :) bet you can't wait till the new Clem arrives :) not sure how many HM tin tops we have on here. We've got a few cabs so cant wait to see pics of yours :)

Thanks, yes can't wait. Driving my hubbie mad with looking at the brochure all the time.Have seen some pics on the US websites but can't find any on UK sites. VW don't seem to adverstise the fact you can get this colour...yes plenty of cabs around . Maybe i'll be the first! ;D.7
Looking forward to having a bug where the heating works...have even opted for heated seats :PHow posh is that?

Hi all
Just thought i would update you on my newbie. She still has not arrived yet. Last Friday she had just come off the production line in Mexico. They say another 4 to 5 weeks yet..so hoping for the end of June. Getting fed up now . Got all the garage tidied ready for her arrival and she will just fit in. Mr Smith and son are fed up of my sighing! Anybody seen any HM tintops on the road yet?

hey again and thx for the update. Yeah thats the problem with the new beetles sometimes - the wait for them to come over from Mexico can seriously pusgh back the delivery date. See if you can get your dealer to throw in some freebie as a bit of an apology....

Hi all
Well i got the call yesterday to say that Clem Too is waiting at the port in Germany. They hope she will be on the boat to Grimsby on Weds or Friday. Not sure how long it takes to get there. But hopefully will get her weekend of the 30th June. Will keep you posted!
Meanwhile i have found some pics of my first Beetle (Clemantine) and will post these as soon as my interenet is fixed at home. (Sneakily doing this during registration time in front of 30 kids! naughty naughty!
Anyway...hope to post more good news shortly lol
