View Full Version : Wheel Repair Southwest ???

Hi Guys,

Anybody know of some where that will repair the paint on an alloy wheel in the southwest, somehow one of our new wheels has got some paint chipped off, its not been curbed or any thing as the car is only ever on our drive/garage or in the private carpark at jos office. It looks as if something has been dropped on it or its been hit with a trolley ( we were at the garden centre yesterday and it was mental). :'(

Absolutley gutted they have only been on two weeks and we are trying to get a few things done for the castle coombe show (our first one, still show virgins), any ideas greatfully recieved. If it cost the earth to get it done it means the new front will have to stay in its box a little longer. :(

Cheers

There's a place in St George who will do them for £40 a wheel.

Do SWT not do refurbs?

Cheers Lucy,

Yeah SWT does do refurbs but only full refurbs so the wheel has to bee sent away and its £75 + vat a wheel. I am just looking to get a localised repair for now and then a full refurb after the summer.

Thanks for the pointer what is the place in St George is it chipsaway??

It's right next door to Chips Away - called Performance Alloys - or similar.

Hi Lucy,

Just phoned them and they are chipsaway as well they have qouted £40 to £60 per wheel done the same day, just drop the car off etc.

So we will get it done when back from hols and before Castle Coombe ( it must be sparkly by then)
