....a door? I have no clue how much I should be getting quoted for this. At some point my bug's had its passenger door resprayed. It's a good paint job as in really shiny and flat etc, but unfortunately the colour match isn't really right. It's not that noticeable until the sun comes out, then it drives me crazy!
My corrado had mismatched doors as well, it must be fate. Either that or I just keep buying crap cars, lol

Know exactly what you mean - my 71 Bug had had a full respray but each panel (doors, wings, bonnet etc) had been painted from a second batch of paint - so every single panel was a diferent colour! Drove me crackers!

As for a full repray of the door, I don't know. Could be up to £300. I'd bet on around £150 tho.

Thanks cherub, it's not super high on my list of priorities, but it does drive me nuts when the sun comes out!
Ooh that reminds me of a joke, lol I'll save it for later! ;D

I'd say around 300 quid.

Around £300 sounds about right. Remember though the match will never be spot on, it will always look slightly different in certain lights. TBH it probably isn't worth messing about with.

LOL - That's complete cobblers. Unless the paint is dud and never really been looked after, then it won't be spot on.

Check my car for colour matching on the the inside and outside or Nico's bumper for colour matchings. They're tricky colours too. A good bodyshop will be well confident about colour matching, and even in direct sunlight there shouldn't be noticable shade difference with the naked eye. If there is, your bodyshop who's done the work is ****.
