A votex front, and a V5 Sport front?

I've got a feeling the only difference is the shape of the mesh grill at the bottom. I may be wrong though... ;D

V5 sport has d shaped end grills and votex has more inset round holes.

oh and V5 Sport has the sidelights. It's also the same as the Turbo S

I didn't know this myself till I got my Sport bumper, so it's nice to help others out like I was helped myself :)

Hehe! I'm thinking about it, but I've seen one for sale that claimed to be a votex and a V5 sport so I just wondered which one it was.

LOL, personal choice, they both look cool, but dont forget with the V5 sport one it has a space for those little running light things, which you dont have, so you may need to get the lights that go in the holes.

The votex bumper doesnt have the space for those little lights :D

It will be a little way off yet, just seeing what's out there at the moment. I haven't even made the first payment on the car yet! :o (well aside from leaving mine).

It will be something I pay to get fitted, there's no way I'd do it myself, so need to find out how difficult the V5 sport one would be

If it helps, the V5 Sport one is £100 more to buy new than the Votex.

I got it cos it was £46 ;) ;D

But in hindsight I would go for the Sport over the Votex cos it's rarer, and it has the little sidelights in to match the ones I've got in my rear bumper (American spec).

i always look for v5 sport bumpers on ebay but i missed that 1! i think they look loads better than the votex ones and its far easier to get bits for them. votex one always makes a bug look a bit like a guppy fish to me!?

Ohh, yeah and Victoria - you can't buy the grill bits seperatly for the Votex, so if you do find one, make sure the grills come with it and aren't broken. If they don't, you'll have to make your own - which can look just as nice -better if it's a custom Bug, as long as you do it right

LOL, i bought some black mesh from a VW show, looks pretty good held up against the bumper, im just going to put it on the bumper and then if i come accross a Votex grill, then ill get it :D

That black mesh is nice Doodle - it'll be stealth against the black bumper and go really well with the 'evil' look :)

Yeah it should look ace, its just a matter now of getting hold of those indicators.

Okies, they've just rang me back after checking all the parts have arrived from Germany - and they have :) So they're going to send them out via Parcel Force 24hr today, so I should have them tomorrow.... I got them sent to Steve's house because I'm not going to be home from Friday for over a week, and I'm not sure how long you've given by parcel force before they return it to sender, so Steve's house is a much safer option :)
