Mine seems too big somehow... and it flaps about at the top. Am I doing something wrong? Or are they all like this?

If it's a Red9 one youreally have to pull the elastic and make sure it's a really tight fit. The flapping middle is cause by the aerodynamics of the car (hence some with the g-string type affair happening). Fit it on a nice hot day and the PVC will be nice and stretchable.

Oh. And it also helps if you remove the rubber seal around the bonnet (if you have one).

Yes it's a Red9 one. Am I putting the eleastic into the wrong holes then? Cos it's almost no effort to clip them in.

Those are the ones i use too, but apparently to get them to fit really nicely there are a coupl eof clips holding the bonnet insulation on. if you take those out you get a reet snug fit. Try stretching the seam of the bra so it is under the lip of the bonnet if you don't want to remove the clips (I don't) a nice warm day is best for stretchiness, as I said before.

EDIT: And the reason I don't stretch the elastic too far is that i don't want to over stretch it if you see what i mean.

Ahh, i see! That makes much more sense then.

Cheers - I'll give that a try when I go out later :)

they do blow up at high speeds.

Best thing is ive found to use two holes that seem to be at the very top of the bonnet. Right up near the windscreen. And yeh, give the leather a pull too!

I couldn't get the liner off, so can't find any more holes :( But I did tie a knot in the elastic, which has helped a bit.

Cheers guys.

just push the square clips together from both sides to release them and then the liner will come off, leave the liner off if you want the bug to sound noisier ;)

I've tied the elastic in a knot which seems to have helped :)

Cheers Jono - I was trying to do that, but he didn't seem to want to let me!
