We got ours lowered at South West Tyres in Clevedon a couple of months ago.
I think they charge about £250 to £300 normally - we paid £250 but we had already spent a small fortune on big shiney wheels the week before :)

Yep we've also heard good stuff about Grant motorsport and Ian is defintely taking his bug there soon! The cost really depends on whether you want to buy the springs yourself or let them do the whole lot - Ian's brought his springs already so I think fitting them will be about £100.
Where bouts in Bristol are ya from? :)

i got mine lowered @ Grant - saw him yesterday actually @ Castle Coombe - top friendly bloke.
should cost £90 there :)
as for springs, i have the Eibach Pro Kit (check awesome gti on net) - lowers the bug 30-35mm. Eibach sportline kit is 50mm drop :)
