with the exception of 2 newbee owners (blue like mine and a silver one) NO-ONE in Bedford waves :'( they all look at me as if I am totally mad (well.. ahem... lol) when I wave or flash at them.... or are they just ignorant of the traditional "dub wave"? :-/ the 2 classic bug and and 1 bay drivers locally always wave so *hi* to them... :-*

if i see ya i'll wave not that i go to Bedford much but its not that far away lol!

thing is with newbee drivers i wouldn't expect them all to be into the VW way of life for most its prolly just 'a cute car!!'

so i'd rekon not everyone knmows about the cursory flash and wave, they just need educating tis all lol ;D

Hiya, yep our bug is Techno [the best blue!!! lol] she has a metallic-pearl finish... my other half photoshopped the flowers on my pic for me.. I love them and think they would actually look really 8-) on the bug in real life... but he has to drive Davina too... so I don't think they'll ever get there! lol

Hi,
Know what you mean! Its like the whole concept of bug ownership bypassed this county! I find the best thing to do is flash and wave constantly til they wave back, usually accompanied with a face that says' i dont have a clue who you are or why your waving but you scare me so ill wave back'.

I have a silver bug, has clear rear lenses, black air cooled influenced bonnet and roof stripes and a black bonnet cover - pretty sure ive waved at you as live in mid beds and work has me driving from Luton to Bedford all day every day!
