There's some HECTIC cars coming out of the X2C stable, my mate Burnsie's 206 will give a fresh approach to 'smoothing' and also the Compact on deuce deuce's... which made me wonder...

What's everyone's plan's for their bug's/Golf's/VW's for 2007. My rear bumper is coming along although a right f**king pain in the ass, and then a big brake conversion in the summer, and then some SERIOUS front end modification by Xquisite in the fall.

How about everyone else???

Not much really for Robbie as he's not gonna be used all that much this summer. Just get his coilovers fitted, empis powder coated and new sump fitted methinks.

Need to get my rims finished for the bug 8-) and thats about it ::)maybe get my arse in it more, enjoying doing the polo no big big plans for it YET ;D but it should look sweet within the next month or so :)

Buy a bra for the Wolfsburg trip, maybe a bit of bumper smoothing when we get back if I like the look.
Make the rear lights all red - not sure about that yet though, may just do it with film to start with.
Get some door lights to replace the refelectors in there now.
Might spray the dash as well towards the end of the year.

Other than that not much as we want 2 holidays this year (if you can call the Wolfsburg roadtrip a holiday *;D) and got to save up some pennies for a new car.

Getting my Wheels done - deffo decided on gloss black now - i think
De-chrome the interior - i think
Spray Dash - Platty Grey or Black?????
Clear indicator lenses chrome bulbs
New Gear knob and handbrake - my knob spins, tis a tad annoying

Dan wants a black 1.8t NBC so maybe buy one
also want a Splitty or a Bay

and if anyone has a spare money tree i'd like one of those too *:-/

Gloss black rims and dash would look spank.

Ah well i don't claim to know what i'm talking about, so i think we'll just be experimenting, thats the thoughts for now, but who knows what it'll end up like in the end! tis a womans perogative to change her mind after all! I just wanted to do it something different to chrome, we'll see.....

Get all Harry's new chrome brightwork fitted
New exhaust
New doorcards and carpets
New tyres (Xplys don't handle all that well ;D)
ummm, fit whatever I buy at shows! ;) ;D

Oh and go to Run 2 the Sun this year - especially as I FINALLY have a classic bug! ;D

Ummm well as I kinda forgot to organise the insurance before I went to get him, I had to go with whoever was open on a Sunday :-[ It ended up costing me £70 a year more that I thought, but it is an agreed value policy with Swinton insurance.

I imagine he'd be worth around £5K once he's all finished - what do you reckon?

Yes i'd say so - I'd put that price on him for insurance. I got quotes for £300 a year for Bella as standard - was yours around that?

The cheapest quote was HIC at £220, but Swinton was £294, my fault for not sorting the insurance on Saturday when everyone was open!

Back to this years bug plans...i dont really have that many, this year, i should be getting my own pad and want to move my photography on a bit, so in all honesty, most of my money is going to go on that. At the moment i dont want to spend loads of money on my bug for it too get trashed doing 100 miles on the motorway everyday. Obviously, im gonna go to all the shows still, its just i dont think there will be any real changes to Noodle this year...well

...apart from some graphics that i may start working on before long... ;)

She was really dirty when we picked her up (think whoever gave her the valet did it with their eyes shut, lol) so we were giving her a good wash and polish at the weekend and the better half noticed she has a crease on her bonnet :( so we might end up having to get a new one :(

oh yeah, and replace the front bumper too - when we've worked out which kit to get ::) votex looking best bet at the moment 8-)
