Tinted windows - what % have you had done - pix?

just weighing up tinting my windows.
found the right place
and the right price
happy for me to go down and mock up the various % on the car to determine which i prefer
wondering what % people had and what it looked like

I remember Nico's old 1.6 had some gangster tints on it, looked good as the car was black. As your's is blue, I wouldn't have it TOO dark man, about 30/40% all the way round.

Mine is tinted.....apartently 'green' i dont know what % it is tho as it was done when i got her. Dont you have to be careful of how dark you go cuz of the Po Po?

forward of the b-pillar yes - ie. the front sides careful - back of that is anyones game

What price have u been quoted - make sure they are doing it proper like by taking the windows out and that you get a guarantee

thats fine mate wasnt worried about whether its proper - just wanted to make sure that they werent giving you some **** like yeah man the bug will be £350 cos its a difficult shape. :-/ :-?

make sure they acount for the slight tint in them allready specily on the frount 0.1%over the 15%allould
and the trotters patrol will have your hind ......

i wouldent go limo black on the back

maybe dark smoke to light smoke would blend nice 8-)

Mine and blacker than black, i think its 70%, not sure.

Ours is 30% tint, Just right I think and thats all sides and back!!

dont u mean 30% as in darker than 70. sure the number system round the other way.

deffo not thinking dark dark. just darker and nice, so almost blends with the b-pillar :)

If I were you ant, I'd employ russian women to file my toe nails. But also I'd have around 40% all the way around.

We were thinking of tinting the A6 when it comes in early March (yay!) but stumped on a shade for that.

How about them tints with the zip on that looks like it's unzipping the mirror PMSL! ;)

I dont think thats true doll.....ive seen lots of bugs with no tint....and you can see on the very edge of one of my windows where the film has been applied.....

Robbie doesn't have a tint. Widget is green tinted tho.

my bug is slight tinted black or smoke ....my last car was green though
if you look at the windscreen theres 2 arrows poitind down at each side (found them this is where the sun tint stops ((((((and where if you pass it with a sunstrip its an mot fail ))))


anyways all my windows are the same tint as the top of the windscreen its abot 1% if that

Just reading what was in the literature when I got Syd. Perhaps they changed their minds but it was one of the selling points that swayed my colour choice when I got syd.

Blimey I've just realised he's 5 this year. Awww my baby's growing up! :o
