Silver had his first trip out since Christmas this week and yes you've guest it - the trip was to see Mr
Stealer. :(
Anyway Mr Stealer kindly gave me a Fox for a couple of days.
First impressions...... Once I had realised I could adjust the seat to a position where I felt I was in it and not on it, the car was very similar to Luey apart from the awful dash layout that's bucket shaped and looks an ideal place for kids to fill up with Crayons, sticky sweets etc. Couldn't quite work out why this shape? If it is intended to fill up with stuff it aint 'alf going to be dangerous.
The clocks are a single circular construction comprising of fuel, speed and rev counter, not bad but still not as good as Lueys dual clocks.
The feel of the car is definitely 'tinny' compared with Luey even down to the extra plasticy bits they have stuck on the steering wheel that look like flappy paddals but don't actually do owt?
Acceleration quite responsive but soon runs out of steam when using full loan car thrashability setting and there certainly wasn't any danger of spilling coke out of those awful mid-rear seat cup holders onto the seat fabric.
All in all a great decision buying a 5 year old Lupo and I'm sorry but I'm not in any rush to get back behind the wheel of another loaner in a hurry. :)
