John, whats the current forum deal? Is it still £195 all in?

Need the cabriolet doing, its the 2.0, the performance is average at the moment, but notice flat spots immediately after gear changes etc etc, what is the 2.0 like after the remap, is it similar to the V5 map where the engine becomes more responsive across the rev range and those little flat spots after the gear change disappearing etc?

Can afford at the moment, but looking a few months down the line :D :D

Hi, i'm interested in getting my 20 51 plate done, it's done about 105,00 miles, does hi mileage deter whether it can be remapped, also looking to change exhaust, is it best to do this 1st.
Was coming to Big Bug Bash and noticed meet is at your place, will you be doing any cars on the day, have you got any deals on for it.;)
Thanks J

Hi! Yes we are doing remaps on the day. As long as I know what you have planned with the hardware I can allow for this in the map, we're doing them at £195 club rate on the day :)

Hey John,

You remapped my orange TDi Newbie about three years ago, it made a massive difference to the car :)

Anywhoo, I'm picking up a brand new 2010 TDi Beetle on Wednesday this week, I am thinking about bringing it down on the 17th, but is it good idea to remap a car that will be virtually brand new? It'll only have a few hundred miles on the clock by the 17th!

I think the engine code is BSW.

We do it for main dealers with brand new cars, generally engineering has improved so much these days espeicially on the better makes it's no issue at all, see you on the 17th? :)

Maybay ;)

Would it be cheeky to ask if my friends 1.9TDi Bora could be done the same day?

If so, we could make a full day out as we have to drive down from North Yorkshire.

No that's fine and we'll do it the same price, anyone else with non Beetle friends wanting to come along just ask!

Righto, I'll definately book the TDi bug in for the 17th October, will there definately be time to fit them all in on the day? I have a 300 miles round trip, so it'll be difficult to get down to you again.

Just to be certain, the dealers won't be able to tell will they? The car will be serviced by them for the next three years!

All the OEM diagnostics will work the same, a dealer can't see the software inside, they can only write over it in an update, which there doesn't seem to be any updates on the EDC16 versions now, I will fit everyone in who wants a map for sure!
