I get lots of smiles and a few waves. When i had my '69 bug every bug you saw waved no matter what. Newbie drivers dont seem to do it although i do, to try and get a trend going. We should start a campaign to get all newbie drivers into waving:yay: just like the old times. Cmon guys, give a wave:yay:

I do, I wave at everyone, and I count how many wave back. It's a good day when most do. But not letting down my own species or anything, but........ some ladies drivers coming in the opp. direction are rather oblivious to what's going on when we wave at them....like they totally don't even see us! So how can they wave back? And I must say, in my observations, a LOT of bug drivers are ladies. (Me included)

That's because many women drivers have tunnel vision. Their focus is set about a car length in front unless they need to check their hair/make-up! :leaving:
