Mark at VDub Resto did some work on Gems '70 bug this weekend, he's done half the work so far, undersealed it, welded up the bodged rear engine tray corners, stone chipped under the bonnet, and fixed the leaky windscreen.
In a couple of weeks time he's going to being replacing the rear body mounts and welding a dodgy patch up under the rear seat. and finish off undersealing the backend.
Once thats done, coupled with the brand new heater channels it already has we'll have a totally solid car.

Its been blown over for now, when we go back in a few weeks for the other work he's gonna finish the corners off properly.

As usual the work Marks doing is top notch and decently priced, I had a good look at the other projects he's doing and the work on them is top notch - he's getting really good results painting straight out the gun as well, the camper in the booth looked mint and it hadn't even been flatted off yet! He's also done a full respray on my mates Honda Prelude which looks absolutely perfect, that needed a bit of welding as well!
I cannot recommend him enough, he does fantastic work, is concientious and honest - which is rare nowadays.
If anyone wants to have a look at the work he does or contact him go to www.vdubresto.co.uk
