Well I thought i'd better introduce my buggy as he is getting jealous with all this talk of the NB:laughing:

He looks a bit boss eyed in this photo, I had problems getting the lights to tighten up but have sorted it now with the help of a plumbers wrench.

It took me 3 years to build and lots of blood sweat and tears but the fun factor is WELL worth it. I've only had it on the road for a couple of months so I'm still very excited :yay:

Aww that looks fab! We used to have a beach buggy too (MK1, SWB) and we really regret parting with it. Was a gorgeous little thing with wet weather gear. What we didn't realise though is that in a rainstorm, the majority of the water came in around the dash, lol. I remember having to stop at a petrol station to buy chewing gum to plug all the holes. I'd say have fun, but it's inevitable when you're in a buggy :)

Thanks for you're kind words, its the first thing I've ever built so positive feed back is always welcome :)

They really are as much fun as you'd think and I'd advise everyone to at least drive one if you get the chance.

I like the story about the chewing gum sharkbait. Wet feet is never a nice thing :(

Yeah the rain didn't come in through the hood at all.. just everywhere else! Hah it was still loads of fun though! Got it off a one legged man in Norfolk (true story)
Are you going to action in the buggy?

We may go to Action on the Saturday but will probably go in the NB as its a fair old distance from us and I like my comfort on long journeys.

So how did this one legged man drive it then, was there some kind of disabilty device fitted?

Manx1641, so have you any pix or info on the buggy as I love a bit of buggy porn ;) Doh! just seen the link at the bottom of your post. You're buggy looks awesome, so how long untill its finished then?
