it's the Balloon Fiesta on the 8th/9th/10th Aug - we would always have a BBQ on the Downs again to watch the Balloons on the Sunday evening (also there is a display by the Red Arrows at 4pm on the Sunday that we would be able to watch)

.....and we can all start collecting things to burn to keep us warm!!:lol:

nothing, thats the point. been about 6wks sat on my drive. i dont need it at the moment, so no point in getting it fixed. its the w/pump and belt that need changing. i do finally have vagcom tho so will check that sht out this weekend :)

When I looked on Tuess, it was going to be sun and heavy showers. On Weds it was sunny intervals. On Thurs it was heavy showers all day. Today it's back to sunny intervals....

Good job we did leave then as the traffic was bad!

Had a close call on the way back too! :eek: We'd just finished waving as we were going past Geoff and Jo when they came off and their junction and all of a sudden there was a metal barrel/fuel tank in the middle of the lane we were in! :eek: So we had to brake hard and wait for the T4 in the next lane to go past before we could go round it.

We had a fast and safe drive back!

That new engine in Hatty is sooooo powerful (for a bug engine) - I reckon it might have 1600 heads! It went up Togg Hill in 4th at a sustained 60mph and wanted to accelerate too, and did the same on all hills! It left the Fiat for dead, I wasn't even pushing it! :lol:
