Retro fit Cruise control

Can anyone help me? Ive just bought my wife a 54 1.8t cab and would like to know if its possible to fit cruise control and can this be done at home.

Does anyone have a "how to do link" been looking about on the forum but the only link that I can find is dead.

Can get the arm from main dealer for £65 but can this be fitted by myself, not really keen on paying main dealer labour fees £90+ per hour if this is a simple job.
