Hi john,

You answered a query I posted in the problems section re my V5 Beetle and the ecu light coming on.

I reset the throttle as you suggested and cleared the code. It's popped back again and I purchased a VAG-COM reader myself, which is showing 19667/01/02.

It's also showing 17511 which is '02 sensor heating circuit output too low B1/S1'

Incidentally, the car has started to stutter as if it's restricted or a coil pack is faulty.

Any ideas, as the book I got with the code reader doesn't show numbers that high!

One other thing, is the 02 sensor silver oxide or titanium. If it's titanium my dad has a tester.

Thanks

Not sure what the sensors are these days titanium etc, I just do the software to run the things! There's such a huge range of common faults with similar symptoms that diagnosing these can be a minefield of trial and error when not with the car. Could even be a wiring fault but coilpacks are always a suspect!
