View Full Version : Anyone fancy a trip to the zoo?

There's a severe lack of meets "up here" in the Midlands/East Anglia region, so we thought it would be great for people from the Midlands/East Anglia area to have an Evvo meet of our own, because many of us can't make it all the way to Wales/Bristol areas.

MrDiva and I were thinking about a meet at Whipsnade Zoo one weekend day in the summer - we could all meet at the M1 Junction 14 (Milton Keynes) bus park and cruise there... we could have a massive evvo picnic. Link to the zoo website - clicky here (http://www.zsl.org/zsl-whipsnade-zoo/).

hi sounds a good idea .but last time i went i had to endure female monkeys giving me the eye and i had trouble getting out . i had to prove that i did not reside there

Freakin awesome idea! And only about 20 minutes from me!

Or we could do Woburn where you drive through the enclosures. An Evvo beetle cruise through lions! :lol:

Could be an issue as the monkeys start dismantling our cars mind you....

Righty-ho...

Trying to organise something during August... thinking of the zoo and a HUGE picnic (peeps to bring their own picnics and we can all sit together), does that sound ok?

Can people that want to come along put their names on this list so we can get an idea of how many will be coming.... copy and paste it and add your names please :)

Any advances??? Once sorted I'll give them a call and see if I can wangle some discount/seperate parking/anything I can get for free :D

I'm on the reserve list to get called in to work extra hours both of those, but once the date is decided I will see if I can swap and get out of it :)
