Hopefully we'll be there in Joey - if not, in Widget... Joey's engine's still on the floor after we replaced the push rod seals and the clutch - putting it back in tonight, so fingers crossed it works!

Argh - Joey is not wanting to play fair! Got the engine back in last night, wired it up, put the new fuel lines in - turned the key and he turned over very slow, then blew one of the big red fuses :( Was 10:30pm at this point so we gave up and went to bed..
Got up at 6am and had another look. This time I wired in the coil right :o and he turned much more freely, but wouldn't fire - then a puff of smoke came out of the top of the carb. From experiance this is normally cos the HT leads are on wrong, so I need to find out which way they go and fingers crossed he'll fire!
Oh and yesterday, just after Steve got home and poked his head through the garage door to say hello before opening the door to the house, when i was fitting a petrol clip, I scuffed my finger on something in the gearbox area - stung a tad but didn't really hurt.... until I saw rather a lot of blood running down my arm  - so ran into the house to stop the bleeding. Steve had only managed to open the door by the time I got in... I can't be left alone for 2 seconds  :o
Anyways - 3mm deep cut in my little finger.... didn't hurt yesterday but sure is sore today! :( and the worst thing is that now it's healed over a bit - it just looks like a tiny graze!!!! Nothing to show for my pain!

Yeah gonna have to be! Not sure what's wrong with Joey and we don't want to rush to get him working, and take him just for the sake of taking him if he's still not right. We can get him ready for Plymouth in our own time then :)

yeah thats a good idea, its a bit like ernie, no point rushing things for the sake of it much better to take your time and get it right :)
marc might wanna take a look around widget too :D

Indeed - no point in killing the engine just to go 15mins down the road!
Hmmm I best wash him when he gets home then  he's filthy and full of compost inside... nice! I mean Widget - not Steve! As long as Marc ignore the blemish on his bonnet - someone decided to burst their tyre on the other side of the motorway and spray poor baby Widget in stones and stuff :(

oh no poor widget, you have a bit of a poorly bunch there :)
im sure marc can look past any little issues, and dirt :D

I best get on with packing!
