Guys, can you keep an eye out for me please? I need a LHS pop out catch (pre 64), 2 pre 64 1200 push rods and some speedo screws.


This is all I have left to get Bella on the road, and without them, I can't get her down for MOT!!!!!

What sort of speedo screws do you need? I have lots of speedos here in bits :D

To get her MOT'd can't you just tie the window shut for now?

There's nothing to fix anything to to tie it up - if worse comes to worse we can shove a fixed window in there tho.

I'm sure they aren't anything special, I think I lost one of Harrys and just used a screw I had :)

My screws were quite big I think! I could measure one of Harrys for you if it would help? :)

I doubt B&Q would do them. I guess I'll just have to zip tie them in :lol:

I lost one of Harrys speedo screws and B&Q is here I got one :) they aren't a special size or anything. In fact B&Q sell most sized screws now, I even got a Shock Absorber bolt for Harry from there! :lol:

Right so I've rang FBI, Mega Bug, Custom and Commercial, Status, Heritage - none of them have had the popout catch. Mega Bug said I should try Karmann Konnection and they had one :D :D :D fingers crossed that it is the right one!!!!! Hopefully it will go out in the post today so I'll get it tomorrow.

Now alll I need is the screws - hopefully we can get some of them in B&Q - and my pushrods will arrive - not much left to do on her then :D
