LOL! Just found an old Advert of Harry on the internet from his first UK owner! I rang the number and he answered! He's got some pics and stuff of when he had him so he's gonna send them onto me :D How cool is that! I now know all of Harrys UK history, and some of his Swedish :D

I think I'll ring his last Swedish owner next (I have her number too :D )

LOL! Yeah it has, basically he had him resprayed when he first got him, he thought the engine he had in him was his original engine as that was what he was told - it wasn't it was a '64 engine, which has since been replaced by me with the engine he has now.

Ummm he seemed a bit upset when I said the interior had been replaced, I don't know what he'd had it done like, but Spencer (Harrys last owner) did the seats, I just changed everything else :laughing: I don't think he did too much with him TBH, just resprayed him then left him in his garage.

He was a nice chap tho, I was on the phone for about 20 mins to him, he's asked can I reply to his email (when I get it) with some pics of how Harry looks now :D

Yay! It's great when that happens - we found a picture of Vinnie on the internet a little while ago, shows him next to a pretty blue rat-bug... and some random guy came up to us at VW Action and told us how he has pictures of Vinnie on his drive after he met his old owner at a petrol station and on the off-chance invited him round for a cuppa ;) he confirmed what the seller had told us about Vinnie being found dumped in a field :eek: and then rescued and owned by a guy from Kinky Mick's Wheel Shack. That's as much history as we know (apart from a few reciepts which were in his glove box when he was found).

Hope the guy comes through for you and sends you the piccies - if he does, don't forget to post them so all us piccy addicts can see lol

I wish I could know more about Bella - all I know is that I bought her off a guy in Dandenong (hehehehe) near Melbourne - and he was from Liverpool! He bought her off a bloke who had used her to teach his girls to drive! :eek: which explains the dents :lol:
