I know it`s not until June but they are taking bookings now - so who`s up for it ?
Dates are June 6-8th, you don`t have to come all weekend though, the Sunday is normally the busiest.
We can have our own club Portaloo (yes, really !) if anyone is interested, it`ll cost £88.13 though. If we do want one then we need to let the organisers know by May 15th.

I'll be there all weekend like last year :D

I'm ok with not having a portaloo

We'll definately be there, all weekend, like last year :D

I think a club Portaloo would be good, the toilets were awful last year!

£88.50 between say 10 of is isn't much :)

1958 Harry
11th February 2008, 12:31

The 6th is my bday so I'm not sure if we'll be there that night, but will probably camp on the 7th with Lols.

Count me in for this one. It was a great weekend last year.
I may even cook some wierd and wonderful 'mess' again

A club loo sounds like a good idea too, as long as we don't have to camp around it though.

Buglet
12th February 2008, 04:43
Can I come too ??? :)

Graham
12th February 2008, 09:02
Can I come too ??? :)

Don`t see why not ;)

I`ll send in the stand application in a day or two. If we want a confirmed camping space together that has to be done as a block booking with money sent with the form - but that can be done seperately.
As I`m old and infirm I won`t be camping unless we can have a whip round for a club Winnebago :p

Snowy
12th February 2008, 10:25
we'll be there too!! not sure if geoff will be working both days again, or just the Sat?

planning on camping both nights (in the luxury of the caravan ;) ) so will have our own loo, but will be more than happy to chip in for a club one as will no doubt use that at some point as it has got to be better than what we had to use last year

and if you are really lucky, we might get to witness naked Touarag driving again

The portaloo can be done seperate to the stand booking - need to find out how many people are coming and get some pennies off everyone for it first though.
I`m waiting for a mail back to say if we need to pay up front to guarantee a club camping pitch too.

Looks like we / you don`t need to prebook camping - I can book a club camping area with rough numbers. Just let whoever know when you are paying that you will be in the evvo area.

I`m planning on booking a club stand for 15 cars and camping area for 10 tents / cars / caravans - sound ok ?

There is a distinct lack of a nightlife in Wycombe I thought, one really dodgy nightclub I never went near and a really dodgy pub, white horse?

Theres more than one dodgy pub in Wycombe :p Most locals head for Marlow (mini Beverley Hills) ;)

Although there is a town center overhaul going on it won't be finished for 3 years yet

Slough  Haven't been to the town center for near enough 22 years

the white horse is still on the a40 out of wycombe towards west wycombe. i used to get there about 1994-1996 for gigs. it now has "exotic dancers" :cuddle:

the niteclub is/was "Time" or "Eden" - not been there for 11yrs!

Vodka Revolution in Beaconsfield the place to get laid in the area ;)

Just received confirmation for a stand for 15 cars - also provisionally booked a club camping area for 10 cars / tents.
The portaloo we can sort out a bit nearer the date if there`s enough interest.

Shamrockez

Hi everyone, I wont be there this year. I wanted to come, but the show clashes with a work's function that i have to attend.

I will be at the Plymouth show though, and probably BVF and the Cornwall show.

I look forward to seeing all of your photos.

If we want a club toilet we need to get it booked in the next few weeks, IIRC it was approx £70. I`m not too fussed as I`m not camping but I don`t know if you camping types want to chip in a few £`s each ?

BTW, evvo is mentioned in the Bristol Volksfest ad now as one of its "Watercooled Supporters"

Only a couple of days left to get the portaloo sorted if we want it - it costs £88.13 and we need to let the organisers know by May 15th.

ff_rabbit
12th May 2008, 14:06
Count me in too Graham.
What is the plan with the tickets? Do I need to book my ticket seperate then give you some money for the loo?

Is there a list of who's going when and doing what on what day ???

Really looking forward to this one again, it was superb last year  :)

Graham
12th May 2008, 14:23
Just need to buy your ticket on the gate and say you`re on the evvo stand and they`ll point you in the right direction.
I`ll start a thread to see who wants to go on what days but there`s loads of room so i can`t see any problems.
Don`t know what`s happening with the Portaloo, I`m a bit reluctant to cough up nearly £90 of my own money on the off chance I can get money back off people on the day. A few people have said they`ll chip in but unless we can get quite a few together (rather quickly as well) then it starts getting a bit expensive.
