what contact adhesive for doing the carpet?
any suiggestions?

Yep, buy the interior carpet adhesive that Halfords sell, thats the stuff I've used for Harry :)

Get 2 cans to be on the safeside :)

Its very sticky tho, especially if you are sticking the underlay in first, your fingers end up furry from all the fluff!

A good tip is so you don't have carpet and underlay sliding about under your feet, glue the underlay to the carpet, then place it (un-glued) on the floor. You will need to glue the carpet to the Transmission Tunnel and obviously around the front footwells and rear luggage area and over the rear arches.

I also to help with noise, cut a piece of spare underlay I had to fit under the back seat (over the Batt) :)
