Air-cooled mat templates

Hi people.

Can anyone confirm if the same mat pattern would be the right fit for all the air-cooled bugs? Did the floorplan shape change?

Similarly; what variations/models would there be for buses?

Any help/advice appreciated plus depending on the repsonse i may need templates taken or test vehicles so any offers welcomed. I'm sure we can sort something out in return...

Pretty much the same throughout the years I believe :)

Can't help with the busses tho, unless your doing T3 mats :)

Normal Beetles are pretty much the same. LHD mats are different to RHD mats. 1302/1303s may be slightly different.

Splits are pretty much all the way through, as are Bays. Except on earlier Splits there is a dip switch on the floor somewhere.

Cheers guys. Will start making some notes; I need to check/create patterns for all the models. If you can help with this by either taking a pattern for mats or checking those we have let me know what you got.

Could sort out some mats cheap maybe for you? Your colours, your logos.

Could trace around our lhd splitty mat if you like - it's a 1964 - let me know - will swap you for an aircooled division sticker ;)

I have RHD beetle mats in my LHD bug (I didn't realise they were LHD until I bought them :lol:) If you want me to trace their pattern let me know :)
